The Community Wildfire Planning Center and CAL FIRE – Office of the State Fire Marshal are excited to announce that registration is now open for the trainings “An Introduction to Land Use Planning for Wildfires in California”. These are free, all-day, in person trainings designed to educate planners, fire specialists, building officials, and other professionals from the public and private sectors engaged in planning, policy, development review or approval activities in California. Attendees learn about the most up-to-date state requirements for planning in fire hazard areas, wildfire ignition basics and home vulnerabilities, and more.
